There was a
bunch of gravel placed in the lay-down lot several weeks ago. Not a huge deal usually but definitely noteworthy activity at a park notorious for not doing ANYTHING new over the last handful of years. Literally the biggest project recently was removing franchise branding from a coffee shop this past offseason.
I feel like Valleyfair will break the ice on something sooner or later. The big opportunity would be the Harley Quinn Discovery from Six Flags America, which only has a couple years on it and is something the chain will try to keep. Every other park in the chain either has a perfect serviceable/similar pendulum ride or physically can't take it, if Michigan's Adventure and Darien Lake can't work then Valleyfair might have it forced on them. They have a few options on where they could put it at that park, not saying it will happen but if Siren's Curse is any indication, the Six Flags committee can move swiftly when they need to.
