I've noticed that across the Merlin parks in the UK, they almost always have at least 3 of the top rides closed. Whereas in the 2 years i've been visiting Paulton's, i don't recall a single ride being closed excluding pre-announced maintenance periods which are off season.
Is there a reason Merlin close the rides so much and/or don't schedule maintenance for off-season?
