Danse macabre got an upgraded ride program today. From what I've heard it got updated (and possibly more intense) movement, more colourful lighting, animatronics springing to life sooner in the ride sequence, higher quality projections and more. Excited to try it next week :)
I rode this thing twice last friday, and I loved it. It's probably my favourite ride at Efteling and it's certainly the highest quality ride there. I can also say for certain Efteling is my favourite park now.
Someone asked in the comments if it's the camera or the train that's vibrating and the POV maker said it's the train. He also said it might be fixed in the future but I don't understand the reason. Something about the "movements of the shell in the backrest" says translate.
Looopings says the park is aiming to open the ride for the upcoming Saturday (20th of April).
Hopefully everything goes smooth and they figured out the bumping problem.
Nearly 10k people watching a youtube livestream is insane numbers. I'm guessing another 15 or so minutes before they send it.

Too right. My first ride on Taron was at the end of a summers day, that thing blew my mind. My second ride in the early morning left me dissapointed.

If the setting is completely random then I guess the lifthill is kinda exciting cause you don't know if you're gonna fall backwards or not on the first ascend.
People also talk about extra cost with the gimmicks but the only really extra thing is the transfer track at the lifthill, cause the one...
