That was meant for the Monorail that never came to fruition.
The building below was originally intended for a Screen base shooter darkride like Toy Story mania. As far is I know, the building is now only used during Halloween for a maze and winter for an ice skating rink.
Rita is nothing Special, but it is fast and intense. Especially the intensity is something newer rides lack a bit, they are just a bit more toned down compared to the older ones.
But with us talking about Merlin, my bet is it being replaced with a Revonchon spinning wild mouse.
Please no, Zamperla has impressively proven that they’re not capable of doing anything on a large scale. If TT2 proves one thing, then that Zamperla is the wrong company to go with.
Intamin should be able to handle it (technically, even with ease as the cars do have 2 rows of magnets). But even...
They haven’t done much about it for 9 years (god, I’m getting old), don’t expect them to do anything now.
To be fair, I believe the issue isn’t that easy to solve as Klugheim is a fair bit below ground level and to get rid of the smell they might have to redo all the sewage pipes going through...
That’s for immersion. The Middle Ages stank like sewage, so they deliberately let eu de sewage enhance the queue experience. The part under the bridge at the beginning of the queue is also prone to sewage smell, as well as the tunnel under Kornmüller. Didn’t you learn your lesson from Intoxicator?
I have to say, I found it to be more thought provoking than anything else. It certainly has a level of sadism to it (starting with the way the waiting room works), but most of all it just got me thinking of what happens afterwards. Most of it wasn’t really sadistic but explanatory in my opinion.
Please let it be open in May, please let it be open in May….
Glad I included this one in my tour this year, now it’s all about hoping to get all the creds.
But gosh, they really try to save some money. But maybe, just maybe, the park would draw more crowds if you invested something in the last...
Any Vekoma SLC, Volare, RCCA coaster and of course the „Family-Thrill“ coaster Tornado. At least from an enthusiast standpoint.
However (except for Tornado), i don’t think that they were meant to be sadistic, they just turned out to be.
I forgot how they’re called, but the Intamin drop towers...
The Figure 8 Intamin Accelerators are a good candidate for me, especially Superman in Australia.
Wodan also packs a lot into a Short duration.
When it comes to fun per m of track, Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loops would like a word.
I figured it might be good to simply ask, and their support was really quick:
Tl:dr: it doesn’t matter where you use it first
Thank you for contacting Canada’s Wonderland. If you purchase a 2025 Gold or Prestige Pass with the 2025 All-Parks Passport Gold or Prestige Add-On, your first visit...
Yeah, so the title explains most of it.
My US trip 2024 had to be postponed (yet again) but is now finally taking place.
To save some money, I would get myself a Canadas Wonderlans Season Pass instead of e.g. a Cedar Point one, which shouldn't be an issue with it being app based.
However, do I...
Since Phantasialand started to be a discount park, it is a very good candidate. Getting into the park for >30€ is tough to beat.
Europa-Park is always in the raffle due to the sheer amount of experiences on offer.
The Versa-Bart has some issues with lap bars, its legs are very thick. Many coasters won't allow a dispatch because the restraint isn't closed enough, some won't even close at all.
With B&M clamshells, the restraint isn't even able to get into the first ratchet. Trust me, we tried :-)
Most test-dummies seem to be somewhat manufacturer specific, and I believe those are as well.
Afaik, there are only 2 manufacturers that really sell those dummies outside the industry, those being Testmankeni and Roto Power.
Do you want to use them, or just have one for your collection...
Are they f*#!> serious?
My bucket list consisted of 4 coasters.
Formula Rossa - been there, done that
Kingda Ka - closed for good in the year that I had to postpone the trip due to work
Do-Dodonpa - confirmed to be torn down a few weeks before my trip to Japan
I305 - Opening delayed until...
I was (un) fortunate enough to get a ride on it, and I'd say it is a disgrace for the park.
The overall queue-time (we started a few metres before the van that marks the real entrance) was about 75 minutes. Well, it is the new attraction, heavily promoted, just opened and might have some...
Funnily enough, Jetline is still listed on the website. It’s marked as closed, but wouldn’t you remove a ride that’s due to be torn down?
Maybe they’re waiting for the plans for a replacement to be finalised, before tearing it down?
