GCI did not retrack Roller Coaster. Lagoon handled that part. These are also not Millennium Flyers, but "GCI Custom Trains." The only differences between these trains and Millennium Flyers are the higher seat backs and 46" Height Requirement, otherwise, mechanically they are the same.
Interesting they went with a Permanent Park Model with piers instead of the Base Frame Park Model Xtended SC-2000. Guess this would make it the Rev. 5.
Semantics? I understood what deathbyillusion meant, but it's always good to clarify. I won't discuss a conversation I had with someone regarding this subject because I don't want it misconstrued.
Trust Me, there IS Theming just for Riders. The Pacing of Cannibal is just Insane! I'm not sure how diving underground, under Temples, and around and through a 60' Waterfall doesn't count as "theming." Especially with the misting from the Waterfall Inside the Tunnel Through it.
It's a "Limited...
Here's the much awaited Cannibal Test Run Video from Easter Sunday taken inside the park!

I think you and I might be doing some kind of Exchange Program as I'll be visiting Alton Towers and Blackpool in August. :P I'd be more than happy to meet up at Lagoon when you visit, or have someone from LagoonisFun.com to be your Guide if you'd like. :)
Lagoon is working on getting Cannibal...
That's a Double Down after the Diving Loop. ;) Also, there are now 4 Trains On Site and there are more Testing Videos on LagoonisFun.com from Opening Day, Last Saturday.
Thunderbolt wasn't Designed by the Legendary Dal Freeman, like Cannibal was. ;)
I'll beat you to it, as I'm only 30 Minutes...
Wicked isn't so bad if you know how to ride it, and it on;y takes one ride to learn. Also, the Trains for Impulse are Significantly Different from Wicked's.
Don't ask me where my mind was, but Cannibal's First Inversion is an "Inverted Loop," the Second Inversion is a "Diving Loop." Additionally, there are 2 Elements and Aerobatic Maneuvers that are known as an Immelmann. Immelmann Turns do not Invert, but Immelmann Loops/Inversions do. I don't know...
Just wanted to clarify some things....
The First Inversion is a Diving Loop, and as you can see, is different from an Immelmann Inversion. This isn't Dal Freeman's or ART Engineering GmbH's first Rodeo. Dal is responsible for Magnum XL-200, The Big One, Other Arrows, Wicked, BomBora, and now...
^ Again, Lagoon stated "Exclusive thrill element to be announced at a later date." That doesn't mean it will or will not be an Inversion, just that the Press Packed never specifically made any mention to the Double Barrel Rolls. ART Engineering GmbH and/or Lagoon could have had the Double Barrel...
Again, the only element not referenced (Aka Named) in the Press Packet was the Turn Around after the Diving Loop and the "Barrel Rolls." The "Barrel Rolls" are not mentioned. ;)
The only Elements not referenced in the Press Packet were the Turn Around Element after the Diving Loop and the Barrel Rolls. The Inverted Loop is essentially an Immelmann Inversion. ;)
Lagoon Officially Announced Cannibal on Thursday, September 4th! LagoonisFun is the only Coaster Enthusiast Website to Receive the Info from the Park. Since I can't post links, Lagoon unveiled several Renderings of the Ride, Logo, and many of the Details.
ART Engineering GmbH was responsible...
Howdy Folks, here's a Cannibal Update!
In the last 2 Weeks more track from Intermountain Lift, Inc. was belivered, the station/storage/workshop/PLC building is going up, as well as the structure for the elevator shaft and dive loop. Lagoon was supposed to install the concrete lid on the tunnel...
