Do you think it has something to do with planning - i.e does a reiteration of something (as it's kinda like a rebuild) get easier acceptance versus something new?
No idea but could be a reason
Do Alton offer any other free way to get around the park? I imagine for people with mobility issues the Skyride being closed could present a fair bit of an issue travelling around the park.
From what I can see they offer paid buggies (£10a day) or paid mobility scooters (£25 a day) but I...
I came across this POV and had to share - hopefully this forum is an acceptable place for it :)
It's a backyard coaster, but a pretty impressive one. I'd seen videos of it but had never watched onride footage - until now.
I think some of you might enjoy it in all its jankiness.
I was lucky enough to get a Beast night ride last summer - they closed the ride while the fireworks show was on, and re-opened around 11pm or so - with everyone in the queue cheering as the first train went out. Hurtling through forest in the pitch black with practically no lights anywhere...
I only have a few creds but here's my current ranking for these:
Diamondback
Silver Star
Shambhala
Behemoth
Nitro
(Orion and Fury 325 are omitted due to the hyper technicality)
Yeah on this theme I remember the SLC with new restraints at Energylandia was fine, while Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland was genuinely atrocious even in the front row. Crazy variation in enjoyability tbh
I'll be intrigued to see how capacity looks for this tbh- CP gets real busy so not sure how it'll handle the crowds.
Is the three train prediction actually a thing.... because I can't imagine how it could be
I've only been on four, but they're all great quality.
1. Mystic Timbers
Perhaps the location helps here but it stood out most of the four I've ridden.
Filled with fun twists and turns and airtime moments over water and through the forest - it's just a great woodie.
2. Troy
It was a while ago...
So now that my big North America park trip with @Climb is over, I thought I’d write up a fairly brief trip report of the parks and notable creds.
I know these are all parks that have been posted a lot - but these were entirely first visits for the both of us so hopefully may still be...
