It's a bit odd they're not running a charity fundraiser with these, usually when parks auction things off it's for a good cause.
Looks like they'll make more money from it dismantled than it brought in running
Originally meant to open in 2016. Looking at Theme Park Review, apparently a parking garage was "about to start construction" in 2016, not sure what the status of that is.o_O
I'm pretty sure the Super Loop "train" goes all the way round the loop, whereas the Skywarp has a train with a front and rear.
As for Disk'Os, I don't know.
The Skywarp wasn't on RCDB at first, but Duane Marden added it during IAAPA 2017
Three times.
First in 2011 to Flamingo Land. It was very quiet, with a couple of other schools there. We walked round the zoo and visited the theme park in the afternoon.
Later that year we went to Codona's, it's a good day out as there's the rides, bowling and the vertigo (aerial assualt...
You must really hate Rita! For me the restraints weren't as bad as I remembered
Here's mine:
Nemesis
Smiler
Wicker Man
Oblivion
Rita
Galactica
Thirteen
Spinball
Runaway Mine Train
Octonauts
No I think you're correct, looks funny but whatever works I guess? :)
I'm happy that the world will finally get to experience the Golden Horse 11-looper after the Journey to the Stars project stalled. Shame Smiler exists now though
That's possible that it was a mistake, though if that is the case it doesn't give me much confidence in their operations.
It's similar to the filming on rides incident earlier this year, nobody checks to see if the rules have changed. I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned when he picked up his ride...
Not at all, actually the article is rather unclear.
I wonder why the Wicker Man (and also the Smiler, according to Alton Towers disability guidelines) are more restrictive than other roller coasters? Much of our public transport network is inaccessible simply due to money not being spent, I...
That's one case where I think they have a point, if the policy hasn't changed why was he allowed on whereas now he's not? I guess as a disabled person myself I feel more strongly here.
Very upsetting that they can't assist people while evacuating roller coasters. I was always under the...
Icon is not rough. Personally I found the seats very comfy, enough that I was not distracted at all from the ride.
Ride Grand National and everything else will feel smooth as glass :)
Looks good, though I'm trying not to follow the construction too closely so it's a nice surprise when I visit.
I'm don't miss the Dragons any more - I never got to ride them dueling anyway, and this will be a much better fit for the area IMO
A bit unrelated but I miss the Vertical Horizons wbeiste! I often cited it on Coasterpedia. Facebook links tend to break over time.
Am glad some people focus on the content and not just clickbait.
IMO while social media has had an impact I wouldn't say it's negative, just a different way of...
