After getting home from California last September, I was on 946 creds and had a slightly farfetched plan to make Hyperia my 1000th by the time it opened... I’ve since ridden far too many Güven runaway trains and other kid creds, had a first trip to Wiener Prater in April to boost the numbers...

I held out until the evening on Friday and managed to get on Hyperia 3 times in just a couple of hours via the single rider line, which no one else seemed to be using by the end of the day! Very relieved to have done it on opening day now…

I'm currently sat at home, due to finish work in 15 minutes, and have been glued to Twitter and Instagram this morning with jealousy at people riding Hyperia... Dreading the thought of a 3-4 hour queue but the temptation to finally ride it is too strong so I will be heading down to Thorpe Park...

The only SRQ I saw at Great America and St Louis in June was on Goliath, and when I tried to use it I was told they weren't using it that day... Seems like this guy is trying to come up with new ideas on how to improve the experience from his office in Six Flags HQ without any practical thought...
