Turns out there was a technical problem for "15 mins" (much much longer). They supposedly decided to extend the offer by 45 minutes, without telling anybody. This meant many people including me lost out on this offer.

Thorpe Park's flash sale is incredibly misleading. The terms and conditions refer to it ending at 5pm today, yet you could not get the discounted price at 4pm (which would be a saving of almost £10 a person). When you don't market a ride, it's no wonder people are not aware of it.

Only good thing about the park is Flying Dreams and that's just the actual ride, not the queuing or the pre-show. Red force is alright while Racing Legends is terrible.

I'm most likely planning to visit this Summer for the first time. Is the only way to really arrive by car because my hotel is around an hour away and is near the train station? How bad are queues in August?

Of course Movieland Italy. May not look much on paper but it's a fun park to be at. Magnum 2 is fantastic, beating the WDS studio tour by far.
