Legit, on God, this was the sign off from a morning Mystic Timbers operator: "Enjoy the rest of your day at Kings Island, the other amusement park in Ohio!"
I was initially excited about an Xtreme Spinner coming to KI or CP (Both parks are much closer to Western New York than SDC... or Plopsa). A closer look at the concept art (and your animation based on it) kinda... make me less excited lol. It looks like a relatively cheap, low-capacity coaster...
For CP:
-Tilt Coaster
-Water Coaster
-Family Thrill Coaster
-Xtreme Spinner Shuttle
For KI:
-Indoor Dark Ride Coaster
-Family Thrill Coaster
-Giga Dive
-Xtreme Spinner Shuttle
A couple of repeats here; both CP and KI looking at the Mack Xtreme Spinner and the family coaster. I suspect Cedar...
Not being an industry expert, it feels weird to me that the buyer hasn't been announced. Worrying, even.
And Parques would be better than the Holers of course but my hopes wouldn't be terribly high that the park would become a destination, or worthy competition to Wonderland.

B&M's first multi-launch looks comparable (imo) to Big Bear Mountain in terms of ride experience. Am I crazy, or are these 2-seater cars allowing for more slicker maneuvers than we typically see from B&M? I bet a thrill...
I revisited Wonderland this year for Tundra Twister and to check out their events. Both were let downs, though that's probably on the park. My first revisit to Hershey was for Dark Nights, which was pretty fun, and again this year for WCR, which I loved.
I only started going to parks in 2021...
Gonna copy my post from that thread lol. So, grain of salt consumed and all, but I still have to wonder why would the GM would want a raptor over an invert. If he's a total enthusiast, maybe? But I can't imagine why he'd turn down a $25M investment in favor of an $8-15M one.
-Could he possibly...
I think the ride experience will be fine, but the thing looks awfully cheap, from the solid concrete slab it's sitting on, to the goofy restraints, to the electrical (I assume?) boxes on all of the supports for the lightning panels (again, I assume).
KingDragon38 posted this to R/Rollercoasters today, apparently posted in a discord, and taken by someone with access to the company who makes airgates for Cedar Fair. I'm curious how this will shape up with Canada's Wonderland possible getting a near-identical coaster, which will blast through...
Wild Water West in South Dakota mentioned plans to get a standard Raptor quite some time ago. It could easily have been cancelled/shuffled around like the KK one, but I think it's safe to assume WWW is still the recipient (unless new info comes to light, of course).
Isn't RCDB run by a single guy? Yeah, some issues and errors are going to pop up (not the least of which, the fact he counts the skywarps as coasters).
That might be exactly why: Branch out and work with another well-regarded manufacturer and possibly built another relationship. Intamin might also not have been available for the project (and Universal already has another Intamin Blitz going to their California park).
Given the fact this and Pipeline were first-of-their-kind prototypes, I'd bet that SWO got an exceptionally good deal on them, especially if they were part of some "prototype bundle".
I think it would be foolish of B&M not to offer those coasters at a steep discount, to prove to the industry...
This is good, obviously, and I was going to be passing by Lake George next year for my anniversary trip with the husbando.
But my selfish, western-NY ass can't help but think, "surely, Darien Lake will be getting some love too, right?"
