    Six Flags Great Adventure!

Sooo...anyone looking forward to Green Lantern?

    Woodies

^ So true. So very true. Especially with the preponderance of boomerang clones in the US.

Mitch Hawker's Polls (Steel Results - Page 7!)

Really? Someone fainted? That's especially surprising considering it's a) way up in Montreal, and b) on a LAKE. It must have been a heat wave or something. Anyway, the line's not usually too long if you go at the right time, and I have never seen anyone faint on it.

    On-Ride Coaster Effects

^Well, Tower of Terror's not really a roller coaster, per se. It's more of a drop ride.[/u]

    Hyper or Looper?

Airtime rides are great, especially the huge B&M hypers, like Nitro, Behemoth, etc. However, if you can find one with that great -gzs AND inversions, well...heaven on earth.

    Favourite water park attraction type

I wish I could've voted more than once. Extreme slides are my favorite, such as Summit Plummet, the highest body slide IN THE WORLD. I managed to hit 55 mph! Great fun. Although, family raft rides and tornado slides are pretty great as well. I missed my chance to do a water...

    Woodies

The best woodies in my book are, in this order: 1. The right side of Le Monstre: SFLR 2. El Toro: SFGA 3. The left side of Le Monstre: SFLR Also, the worst woodie ever to me (because of its exceeding roughness) was Hurler: King's Dominion.

    On-Ride Coaster Effects

Best effects: 1. The mid-ride elevator on Journey to Atlantis: SeaWorld San Diego 2. Signs et al. on Rock 'n' Rollercoaster: WDW 3. Flames+mist on the dive loop and interlocking corkscrews, respectively, on Bizarro: SFGA

    Rides you miss

Oh, yes. Absolutely. The dive towards the river was just fantastic.

    Six Flags Great Adventure!

I think the coasters are really what make this park. It's got Kingda Ka which has the appeal of being the world's tallest and (though this will disappear soon) fastest roller coaster, and El Toro, which also has several world's firsts. Not to mention the sheer amazing-ness of Bizarro and Nitro.

    Pay-per-ride, Pay-1-price or Pay-to-enter & Pay-per-ri

Pay-one-price is the best for one simple reason: if it's a day where there's NOBODY in the park, pay-one-price allows you to completely go [censored] WILD! If it's pay-per-ride, then the walk-on capacity is made significantly more bittersweet.

Do you take your shoes off while riding inverts/flyers?

Absolutely. Sometimes I purposefully wear loose shoes so I can take them off. Bare feet just does something for me that I like.

    Beyond vertical

I agree that 120 is a bit much, but slightly over vertical is really quite cool. Farenheit especially so: the 98.6 degree drop (that is right; it was specifically designed to be ~98.6 degrees) makes you feel like you're just falling off the track or out of your seat. Also, though it probably...

    Favourite type of water ride

My favorite is the water coaster, like Journey to Atlantis in SeaWorld San Diego. The fact that you get the smoothness of a roller coaster without the banging back and forth of the shoot-the-chutes, along with the splashes of water is just great. Not to mention the added "cool" factor of...
