A lot of the 90s B&Ms are pretty loud. Mantis and Raptor come quickly to mind, and of course there's Kumba's godly roar.

Maverick is pretty sexy in all ways, with it's Stengels and whatnot. Apollo's Chariot would get an honorable mention from me, but Maverick wins it.

That's a lotta news for Hard Rock Park. Seeing this now kinda fazed me a bit, as I saw Led Zeppelin being constructed what feels like yesterday. Well at any rate, glad to see it should be continuing on!

I can't vote. I'm torn completely between the two. One day I'll prefer something like Millenium (say what you want about it's airtime), and another I'll want an Alpengeist. Final conclusion: Ride Maverick and get the best of both worlds.

I'm going to have to agree with Tay. With coasters of this proportion, especially woodies, pacing is everything, and every bit as important as airtime in my opinion. El Toro seems to be a nonstop rush from the first drop to the final brakes, and T Express seems to have a few slower breaks in it...

The Force does have awesome music, but I don't think I heard Twister's. What was it like? If you count sound effects, then TTD is awesome too.

I'll go with Cobra Rolls. They look incredibly menacing and are usually really forceful, especially on inverts.

I've read quite a few reviews, including Snoo's right there, that said that the rest of Montu aside from the Batwing isn't incredibly forceful. And while all of Alpengeist's inversions are massive, the speed at which the train goes through them makes for some serious force on every inversion...

Khan looks the best by a long shot in my eyes.

Ah, invert battle. The Giant verses the 7-inverter. I've only ridden Alpie, but it was fantastic. The sheer size of this beast was staggering, the force was just fierce (especially in the cobra roll), and the theming is just ace as well. The only real advantage to Montu, as far as I can see...

Cars is amazing. Of course, it helps to have an American view of NASCAR to get most of the jokes, but meh.. :P Still a great flick. Fell asleep partway through watching American Gangster last night. From what I saw it was really good, quite thrilling, in a semi-Scarface sort of way.

B&M clamshells are great, B&M sitdowns are great, and Intamin launched sitdowns (i.e. Storm Runner) are great. Arrow horsecollars are not so great. And also the restraints on the inverted pirate ships (the ones that hold you upside down) hurt like **** too. They just dig into your...
