Blackpool Pleasure Beach | Icon | Mack Multi-Launch

Icon most certainly is not rough. It has the "Mack Rattle" associated with coasters like Helix and Blue Fire but it honestly isn't rough. I have ridden Icon around 50 times now in every single seat including numerous rides at the back and it is insanely re-rideable. The Intamin trains on Taron...

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach |Wallace & Gromit Thrill-o-Matic

Re: Wallace & Gromit Confirmed For Pleasure Beach Hi Martyn B It was "announced" for a 2012 opening but then for some reason the whole project just went dead. On PBE we were a little sceptical that it would even happen as Pleasure Beach stayed quiet about the whole thing. I'm just letting you...

    Favorite Woody?

The Grand National is the best woodie in the world imo. Truly crazy though I am yet to ride the Beast at King's Island so my opinion might change.

    Schwarzkopf - hero, or hopeless?

Schwarzkopf seem to have a lot of travelling coasters. The quality in some of their designs is great and they have some of the most intense non-B&M and non-Intamin coasters out there. Having said that some of their coasters are a bit shoddy. They are hit and miss imo.

32 hurt in Big Dipper Crash

They will have to do what they are told on this issue. If the system has to change then it will have to change. Like people have said it doesn't matter about loading and dispatch times what's more important is that the system is safe.

Fairground ride terror-restraints work and ride doesn't fail

Silly woman. She made the whole situation worse! It must be scary trapped that far up on a booster when the car is tilted like that. Aren't these rides motion controlled whereby they are only able to be operated if the restraint is secure? Dear me some people have no common sense.

Two injured on Crazy Frog ride at Blackpool Pier

I was on that 2 weeks ago. Lucky escape methinks. Funny because my friend stated 'I don't like the look of that it doesn't look safe.'

    Best / Worst Park Food

In the UK the best are: Alton Towers- Always enjoyed the food there and the places to eat are nice as well. BPB: The Italian Job all you can eat buffet is lush and Thor's Fish and Chip Place is also very nice. Always like eating here. The Worst: Legoland: A sandwich and a drink was...

    Rollercoaster Set For Re-Opening.

My Pleasure Beach group on Facebook (which is the biggest I might add) is flooded with people complaining about the Rollercoaster not being open. It is unlikely it will be open again this year as it was only open as an alternative to the Nash being closed at the start of the year and of...

AMAZING Rare News Coverage Of Big One Crash

There was some sort of glitch in the computerized operating system which prevented the second train from fully stopping and also the mid course breaks were not working properly. The second train hit the first train from behind at a few miles an hour. As far as I know the train was intact?
