If it’s stock then a Skatteøen or Fjord Explorer clone would be nice, a few smaller drops and twists before the final splashdown.
Would also be nice to have a few show scenes before the lift hill to help build the story and create some suspense.
Honestly though I hope it’s a...
The twist that Lawrence mentioned could be the Vikings themselves. In the concept art you can see small green pixie looking Vikings sitting on buildings and on Vild Swing.
The Wave at Drayton Manor has lap restraints which is great until you hit the zero g roll. If you’re not expecting it/sitting on the outer seats your body get snapped to the side, spine nearly at 90 degrees, smashing into the bucketed seat. Really can ruin the ride experience.
Can imagine the...
I doubt they would encroach on “amusement park zone” land after the legal battles when Cobra and the edge were built, Paultons has limited space and with the New Forest Council being rather strict with park extensions.
The accommodation lodges are planned for outside the current “amusement...
Wonder why The Edge is getting removed when nothing is replacing it for 2026?
Creates a nice empty border around the Vikings area. I’m calling it now a wooden out and back coaster starting from raging river splash pad!
Don’t forget both eurofighter and infinity models can include launches. With Paultons attention to detail we can expect an over all great addition. Also it’s not just Geurstlauer that do vertical lifts…
Honestly Ghostly Manor is amazing, so much detail in the pre show rooms, the use of screens, physical sets, interactive animatronics around the ride makes it easily one of the best in the UK and even Europe.
Still looking forward to seeing the concept art. Makes sense it’s a Geurstlauer, as Cobra will need renovating and supports changing, financially it’s a good starter thrill ride, plus the footers did suggest this. I’m still hoping for an Infinity, lap bars and a rolling launch as well as the...
I hope it’s not entirely true, a 1.2m height restriction does limit coaster options and intensity. I do not think could handle having an extreme/thrill marquee coaster, expanding their audience into more teens/adults. I would be sad if it was a family thrill.
Also footer work has started...
What is everyone thinking about flat rides?
We’ve discussed coaster options a lot, with Intamin hot racer, Geurstlauer infinity or Mack big dipper being favourites for the 2026 coaster.
What flat rides would you like to see accompany the coaster for 2026?
For me a Zamperla Big Wavez which...
It wasn’t just a citation but also a picture of the slide from a presentation that was shown during the staff meeting. Source Adrenaline Nation on discord.
The go cart site looks more promising for a water coaster as they’ve put hardcore down over at least half of the site at the moment. Which...
In a staff meeting, staff were told the go carts area would be transformed for 2027 and the area around cobra for 2026 including a UK first flat ride and a 1.2m roller coaster.
New updated from UK Theme Parks, work continuing on the large building in the Vikings area, more footers for the 2026 coaster and even footer cages for the 2027 coaster.
